Studied medicine from 2010-2017 at TU Dresden and Saarland University. 2015 Dissertation on the effect of medication on intraocular pressure during eye surgery. 2016 Practical year in ophthalmology at the Save Sight Institute in Sydney. 2017-2021 Specialist training at the Bürgerspital Solothurn, the University Hospital Basel and the Saarburg Eye Clinic. 2021-2024 Senior consultant at the University Hospital Basel with specialist training in ophthalmic surgery. Since 2021 lecturer for surgical techniques at the ‘Young Swiss Ophthalmologists’ and ‘Augenchirurginnen’.
2024 Joined the Zytglogge Eye Centre with a focus on cataract surgery.
